Volunteers Needed!


VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to restore the Fanwood Nature Center!
  • Fanwood Environmental Commission seeks volunteers to remove non-native invasive plants at the Fanwood Nature Center
  • plant removal can be done anytime (AM or PM), weekday and/or weekend beginning late winter thru end of fall
  • It's EASY - all you need is to wear long pants, long sleeved shirt, garden gloves & comfortable shoes!
  • Plants to be removed include English ivy, Japanese knotweed, Japanese stiltgrass, multiflora rose.
If you are interested in learning about native & non- native plants, restoring the Fanwood Nature Center or you enjoy the outdoors, then the environmental commission welcomes your participation!
